I am having a hard time finding a place that can align my mini near me. Most say they wont do alignments on old minis and a few said they would but not deviate from stock specs. I would like to find a place that can dial in my car a little better than stock if they could. I have some adjustable parts on my car and I would like to utilize them better.

Anyone got a place i can go to and some rough fast road settings they care to share?

You can do quite a good job yourself if you take the time and invest in a few tools.

Time is my enemy right now or I would do it myself. I work away from home and am only home every few weekends. I always have to catch up on things and the mini has been suffering. I am going to have to start paying people to work on it sadly so I can have enough time to enjoy driving it.
I'm also having a hell of a time finding a place to tune it as well. She is running fairly rich.

Maybe a little bit of a drive from Surrey, but the Wheel Alignment Centre in Southampton is very good. They do all manner of classic and modern cars. Their walls are covered in photos of cars they have done, and includes many classic Minis.

Just be aware that you have to make a booking, and can’t just turn up.

I am in Guildford so Southampton isn't too far for me to get a proper alignment. Local would be better but it seems like none of them want my money which is crazy when you think about it.

Long shot as they are specialists in certain marques but they might help if you explain your dilemma:

I used these guys in Redhill a couple of summers ago for a 4 wheel alignment on the dad wagon (2003 mercedes estate) and we (obviously!) got into a conversation about minis - apparently they do quite a few as a local restorer takes his there for set up. Wasn't sure if it was just a sales pitch, but seemed genuinely interested - might be worth a phone call for a chat? https://sussexautoca...wheel-alignment

They were ok with doing the mini so I booked them. Didnt say anything about doing minis in particular but they said they were happy to work with me on setting it up.

I’m in Guildford too. I was getting my spare re-shod at a garage on the Slyfield Estate a few months back and they had a Mini in the shop at the time and all manner of other classics outside. I’ve no idea if they know their way round alignment for a Mini but they seemed classic friendly at least. I’ll try and dig out their details for you.

Ya. Not so much of a fan of bellfields. They really did a number on my wife's car a while back. Thanks for the info though.
