Hi, the catch and the buffer cup on the b post on the mk1 and 2's, are the plates these screw into inside the b post captive or will they drop inside the b piller never to be seen again if I remove the screws?

They’re inside a little folded box so they won’t drop out but they do have a small amount of movement to allow for adjustment.
