Hi I’ve recently bought my mini And it needs a bit of rot cut out above the drivers door along the seam where the door rubbers go. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and how much it was roughly to cut it out and weld in a new piece? Thanks

Not it’s the seam of the door frame it’s pretty much non existent and is crumbly only held in place by the head liner lol

Well that’s not ideal. I’ve see a lot of them rust in the front corners at the top of the A post but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one go where yours has.
Really you need to pop the seal off and peal a bit of he headlining back and go over the area with a wire brush to see how far it goes.
The good news is that it’s not major surgery to repair just a bit fiddly.
