Team Mini,

I am having a hard time determining the bore to piston clearance . I tried researching on the forums here, I tried emailing the company (no reply back), and I have tried searching the Internet with no luck. Can somebody please help me determine the clearance. Please see picture for details. Thanks again for the help.

Measured at the bottom of the skirt 0.0004" (4 tenths of 1 thou) to 0.0014" (one point four thou).

I'd suggest running to the upper figure.

Does this sound right. I was told by MAR Motorspot the piston to bore clearance for this part is 0.035mm not .0035. Seems a little high. Thanks in advance.

That works out at 0.00137".

Short answer is yes.

These pistons are as OEM (same brand and type), the range of figures I gave were from the factory manual and quite in line with this figure.
