Hello all,
Looking to purchase a 1275 engine to rebuild and fit into my 1973 mini 1000.
I have seen these 2 engines on eBay from the same seller.

And this one
https://rover.ebay.c...tm/254294314449
If anyone has any advice on which one to go for (If any!) please let me know. They're located about 40 minutes from my house but I won't get a chance to go and have a look until late next week as I am at work in Germany.
I would be looking to fully rebuild the engine and send it off to Rob Walker for the machine work before doing so.
All the best

Both blocks are A+ one has an A head and the other an A+ head. Both are over priced. As an unknown unprovable power unit 150 to 200 maybe.

Thanks for the tip off Nick,
I just wasn't sure what the going rate these days for a 1275. Somebody's asking £699 for an apparently serviceable unit. At least I'm not in a hurry as they don't seem to come up as often as they used to.

700 would be better spent rebuilding a knackered unit.
