I thought I’d pop along for 1 day to IMM and looked online and under tickets it says it is £100 a ticket. Theres no mention of day admission, other than buried six questions down in the FAQs, that on the Sunday they are allowing day admission. No price, however going from this months Miniworld is it £20.

So to anyone involved in IMM, might be good to alter the website and make it clearer on the ticketing area that there’s day admission on the Sunday and what the cost is.

Everything seems to be on Facebook these days, of which I'm not a member. Agree that the info out there for the IMM is fairly limited or a bit 'grey'.

I'm now unfortunately only going for the day on the Sunday. From what I know it's £20 for the day (Sunday being the only day that you can go to), you can't get into the camping area (obvs) and not sure if you are parking with other ( for the day only) mini's or if it's just general Sunday Car parking for all vehicles.

Sure I've seen on here that they'll have some Mini only parking.

I’ve passed the message about pricing on to one of the organisers, might be a bit late in the day to change much (I’m not sure how they’ve organised their web hosting/site).

Yes, there will be mini only parking on the Sunday. Marshals will direct you to the correct location.

From what I understand the Sunday opening isn't even officially IMM but the mini 60 celebration. I didn't make it to the last few IMMs (Portugal and Ireland) but from I remember from the Belgian edition you could buy a dayticket for any of the events days. It seems a shame they're limiting those of us who simply can't make it for a full weekend. Likely all the rare and desirable spares will have already gone by the time Sunday rolls around...

Yes it is two events. You have the yearly IMM and the 5 year Mini Birthday. Which this year is part of the IMM not sure if it has been like this before but I remember many where the Birthday celebrations were separate to the IMM.

I’m not on the book of face either.

I guess there are business reasons behind the fact it is two separate events. But anyway a simple explanation on the ticketing page would help, as I’m sure it’s not just me who doesn’t realise it is two separate events and costs.

IMM & Mini 50th day event were both together at Cofton Park, Longbridge 2009

also IMM & Mini 55th day event at Detling in Kent 2014

Maybe those just going for the day could arrange to meet somewhere near and head in together to the mini specific parking and then we'd all be in the same place. Otherwise think there's a TMF stand somewhere and the TMF camping area that day visitors won't have access to.

Just to make the point, if you want to park together you will need to congregate before going into the site as the Mini parking isn't allocated or grouped.

With the number of people expected the marshals first duty is to keep the roads around the site clear so we won't have a lot of time to get people parked. If you've been to Castle Combe (or any of the big shows) I hope you'll appreciate that getting clubs parked neatly is what causes most of the local traffic problems.
