We are putting silent coat sound deadening on floors, doorskins etc. What are you good people using on the roof skin?

I put a couple of sheets of silent coat on the roof and then some of this https://www.woolies-...-deadening-felt.

closed cell foam on top of 2 sheets of silent coat.

I used Dynamat Xtreme and then covered that with a sheet of the Dynamat Dynapad on the roof. Everyplace else was just Dynamat Extreme. Oh, I used Stinger heat shield on the foot boards / firwall.

Anyone used Dodo 15mm MLV? Just wonder if it’s worth all the money.

question for you guys: I'm remaking a set of doors using aluminium exterior sheet. I did not plan to use sound proofing and I have no point of comparison, with and without. does it make that much of a difference ? I don't mind the noise (the car is loud anyway) but is it that bad ? I mean, when you drive with the windows down, it can not be worse than that ?
