West Country Minis invite you to join them on the Island on the weekend of 14/15 September. The WCM Isle of Wight Adventure 2018 is sponsored by Red Funnel, with a great value ferry return of just £31 available for all Minis attending!

Another I’m involved with, couple of things to add.

There is free camping at Sandown Airport where there will be a bar, BBQ and live music.

We are running ‘pride of ownership’ awards and a raffle with prizes donated by Mini Sport and the local MINI dealership, Snows.

If you have any question, give me a shout.

Edit: Just noticed that there is a mistake on the Red Funnel page - it still says 2018. They ran the first IOW run in 2017, WCM took it over in 2018 (so this is the 2nd year we’ve been running it).

Just a small update on this - one of the crossing times is now fully booked and the other is filling quite quickly. In total I think we're 120+ cars crossing from the main land with as many again from the local clubs (assuming I haven't over estimated their size!).

As above, although we don't want it to turn into a car show (it's always been about getting folk to and around the island), we are running a couple of small things at Sandowne Airport. Free camping, bar & BBQ and we're having a small 'pride of ownership' awards (a bit like a show-and-shine but with less polishing of wheel bolts) which has prizes from Mini Sport, Red Funnel and the local Snows MINI dealership (as well as a few bits from us).

If anyone wants more details, give me a shout.

Roughly what time is this Pride of Ownership thing happening? Is it on Saturday? Would be interested in coming up and meeting some of the many minis and their owners of course that i'm sure are going to the IOW over the weekend at Sandown whilst this is on.

It’ll be around lunch time/early afternoon. We don’t want to take up everyone’s day. We put a rough plan together on a poster...
