Its an engine i bought and was told it was an MG Metro. Its definitely standard bore as i measured it when i had the head off for reconditioning. The valves are also MG Metro size and its had a bit of polishing. No idea what cam is in it but ive fitted an HIF44 off an MG, electronic ignition, full Maniflow system, Minispares inlet manifold. I also fitted a new clutch and water pump when it was out.
I have really been collecting bits and pieces over the past few yearswhenever i had the money to buy the bits. In saying that, i had no where near all the stuff i needed and ive boughgt loads f bits from all the different suppliers and also off ebay. Theres literally not a nut and bolt on the car that i havent fitted ( apart from the actual engine and gearbox )

As part of my pre-restoration colection, i had bought a set of these 100+ Quartos that were in need of restoring.I had them sanded down and then painted to recreate the original design of the wheel. This is sentimental to me as i ahd the exact same wheels on my first ever Mini when i was 18.
This is the wheel looking from above. They are 5 x 10s and there is no spacer fitted to either front or rear.
I wasnt sure whether or not to fit side repeaters as i didnt particularly like the rectangular standard ones. Then i saw these on ebay for a Fiat 500. I think they suit the car better than the originals... but thats only my opinion.
