Hello All!

I joined and upgraded to TMF+ upon the purchase of my first mini a few weeks back. I've been reading through a lot of the content but haven't posted till now. There is such a wealth of information available!!

I've always wanted a mini, since before I could drive and after ~20 years of lusting I finally got one :)

I have a 1990 racing green still in original green/white but with a lot of mini cooper styling (logos, stickers etc.) despite the 998 CC engine. I'm planning to remove the styling and keep it simpler. Runs well and been out a few times but the car has been a bit neglected the last few years' so a fair bit of work to do (the usual rust patches)...

I don't have much to offer yet but will be glad of assistance with some of the jobs i'm bound to need to do at some point!

Must admit rust is the biggest "dilemma" with a mini.. its a killer and for ever chasing it :-( . I have a pickup and its starting to look rather sad due to the tin worm

Thanks for the warm welcome!

It came with 13" alloys and going to stick with those for the foreseeable future. Tool stock is increasing slowly :)
