Hi all

First of all soz4noob but does the ACR4 need to be connected to your vehicles battery/starter rather than a separate 12v supply? I've got two of the 30211600 harness and having connected the to the white 3 pin with power off a 12v battery I'm getting nothing. I know the reader works as using a different harness on the 12v battery it powers up...

Could the cars 3pin be dead? I'm going to try some electrical contact cleaner on the 3pin but otherwise I'm out of ideas

Help! ?

you need to connect it to the car power supply, think there is only one red crocodile clip for live power, neg comes via the three pin connection

Ok so... i can try to pick up the 12v off the starter? The clip won't reach the boot mounted battery

connection to the starter is what I use ,also you can get a lead to extend the harness ,makes life easier for moving the acr about . make sure connections are done then turn ignition on
