have done a search but can't see anything similar, so need some help if possible.
It' a 98 mini cooper mpi. Under load she has a tendancy to cough and splutter if accelerator is floored, ease off once this has started and feather the throttle and you can find a spot where it's not missing and then gradually add more throttle. This can happen in any gear and speed. If this is occuring and you put car in neutral she will rev freely and with no problems.
Changed plugs, leads and coilpack.
