The rainforest catches fire and the fire spreads so fast the burnt area doubles in size every day. Fortunately the monsoon arrives and extinguishes the fire 12 days after it started but 1200 acres of forest have been lost.
If the rains had come just a day earlier, how much more forest would have been saved?600 acres?
I got 600 too
But it depends if the President of Brazil thinks you have an ulterior motive to put the fire out a day earlier.....
Yea, it was 600, but then two weeks later government officials came and torched a further 1000 acres to make way for farmland.
Big EU-South America trade deal now depends on it, France and Ireland have refused to ratify the deal unless the Brazilians sort it out.
