I would like to install the following rocker cover on my SPi JSpec Mini. Please advise where I should connect the hose out of it. Thanks.Attached File  rocker cover.jpeg   54.23K   3 downloads

The hose on the cover is not standard. Looks like a flexible brake hose where the cover has been drilled and then fixed to it.

Take the hose off and blank the hole. Normally breathes via the filler cap

If the cap isn't breathable, you could fit a small filter like others fit to their crank case breathers.

Just keep in mind, the filter may allow oil vapours through

Connect it to the air cleaner.

I have a similar style cover from the 60-70s and they included a breather pipe on the top (yours appears to be a brake line like Jon stated). These were intended to connect to the air cleaner housing on carb cars. The injection cars have a pretty unique "sealed" breathing system for Minis. All the breathers feed back into the throttle body. You would have to find a way to splice into that system OR slap a filter on it and let it vent into the atmosphere. I think blocking it off and getting a new vented cap would be ideal though.
