Blimey £20k? Are they worth that much these days?

Nice Mini.....although some might say the paintwork is far too smooth and shiny (modern 2-pack?) for even a brand new BMC or BL car back in the day !

So this story ended with the vendor turning down £18.5k, she's sold now so my hunt continues for my perfect Mk1..  Was a lovely test drive though, made my whole family laugh all the way.  A great runner oozing charm.

OMG! Mk1's shoot up in value in the last years...
Despite being a lovely car 18.5k is already a lot of money!

They sure are. We paid £8k for ours in 2012 and thought that was top dollar at the time. Classic car prices rising steadily.

Sweet looking car Mike.

Assume it's had a lot of work done this year - it had an advisory for both sills on the last MOT (which has now run out).

Stu.

Needs new sills and in time new wings, but otherwise starts first time and very original.  2 owners since new with genuine 30K milage.

Has 5 Cooper wheels plus the original 4.5" wheels with tyres.

No MOT as now exempt, tax too obviously.

Restored 15 years ago and needs some loving to bring it back up to top notch (which it ill get!).
