Hi helping a friend. he has one (1) Cosmic 5x10 in barn. He is wondering if it worth anything before he bins it?

Cosmic made quite a lot of different styles, some cast Mag-alloy;  at one time, one of them was the lightest Mini wheel.

How much is he after

That's a Mk3 Cosmic from the early '70s - do not bin it! I've got two sets of 5x10s, one set on my Mk2 S and another being refurbished as I type this. Doubt I'll ever see another complete set for sale.

 

The one in the photo is repairable, my first set were in far worse condition than that and are now as good as new.

as for the asking price, what would you offer? Just remember that there will be a bit of shipping on top.

I don't need it myself but I'd say in that condition it's worth at least £40 or £50. You might get more than that on ebay.
