Hi

 

I'm just in the process of replacing the driveshaft oil seals on our 1992 open classic, I have a couple of questions: 

 

I have seen mention of checking / replacing the bushings in the casing, what are the checks to the bushing to ascertain if they are ok?

 

Also, is it recommended to use gasket goo between the casing and gearbox or are the paper gaskets adequate?
