BMW rear lights on this one.
Quite like the flushed / recessed headlights and flat front of the "Juiced Mini", not a fan of the BMW rear lights of the Zeemax Mini.
George Harrison's Radford Cooper S and Ringo Starr's Hooper Hatchback Cooper S both had horizontally mounted VW Beetle rear lights, while John Lennon's and Paul McCartney's Radfords both had Aston Marton DB5 rear lights.
The Monkees Mike Nesmith's '67 Radford had air extractor vents set into the rear wing panels.
So the Radford Mini's of Lennon and McCartney were where the Mini Remastered's rear-lights took their inspiration from.
What stands out about the VW Beetle rear-lights on Ringo Starr's Mini besides the hatchback rear (as on other non-Clubman Mini hatchback prototypes / bespoke conversions), would be whether a hypothetical updated Mini hatchback of the late-60s could have made use of Morris Nomad style recessed rear-lights (interesting to note the latter appears to be the same rear-lights used on the Project Ant prototype in post #4).
