Hello, I have a 1995 spi mini and where the manifold met the downpipe was leaking so I changed the manifold out for an lcb manifold but now the car has a rough idle for a few seconds when it's first started and cuts out the same as It did a while ago when it had a vacuum leak but I'm pretty sure it's not a vacuum leak

Simplest would be an inlet manifold air leak. Check hose connections and the slacken and retighten the nuts.

Check what hose connections?

I sprayed around the inlet with some carb cleaner but it didn't seem to do anything

If there's an air leak engine side of the throttle it'll allow proportionally more air in when less air goes through the closing throttle and the manifold vacuum increases.

After market manifold flanges can be a different thickness to the original making it harder to clamp both inlet & exhaust together.

Since it's injection, an air leak on the exhaust side could do similar by affecting the lambda sensor, but you'd probably hear that.

Perhaps could it be a bad lambda as I had to cut and re use the plug off of the old lambda with a new universal sensor? Would that cause the car to stall?

I solved it, the bloody vacuum pipe snapped off the ecu, thanks for the help though it was much appreciated
