I always thought the 18/85 were only available as automatics?

This car has had a new engine, but I thought the transmission was the same spec as original. 

To be honest, I have no idea.

To be honest, I have no idea.

 

My late father-in-law had an 18/85 for towing his caravan but it had been converted from auto to manual.

I have got an unused, still boxed auto gearbox somewhere, that I once intended to put under a Rover V8, in the back of something...................................................

 

If God lets me, I might still do it.
