Hi folks,

Having built a n AMC Cub kit car 30 years ago which has been off the road for 14 years I've started a slow rebuild. Lots to do and most of my Mini knowledge has evaporated over the years so there'll be lots of stupid questions. I'm replacing the tired 998 with a 1275 I picked up, this needs a rebuild though so more work to add to the list. I'm currently removing all the hammerite I painted the hidden bits with which hasn't prevented tin worm as I'd intended.Please be gentle with me as I'm now rapidly approaching old fart status. There'll be silly questions such as any difference between A and A+ cams other than oil pump drive? Looking forward to joining the chat on here.
