I'm in the process of tidying up my steel spare wheel to effectively be as-new condition but I'm unsure what stickers (if any) would have been on the wheel from new, maybe a handbook sticker etc? It's for a '98 car.

Mine has a few stickers on it, like 80kph...
Could grab a picture tomorrow if it helps?

Hi Ben, I've already managed to find an image on the net and it seems it's basically a yellow handbook sticker and an 80kph sticker as you've mentioned. Handbook sticker sorted and I'm getting the speed sticker done by Sticky Fingers.

Sounds about right, nothing fancy.  :shy:

I used to just paint my spare wheels red... Its a bit odd they put the speed limit sticker on them as they aren't pancake wheels, but proper ones. oh well.

just shout if you need anything else.

Cheers Ben.

I'm running 165 tyres but a 145 spare so suspect I'll need the max speed sticker.

As 145 tyres are standard tyres for a Mini on a motorway. they must be good for 70MPH plus a safety margin.

But you can't mix tyre sizes on the same axle ....
