The Bore will not wear evenly and so is no longer round.

Honing them won't correct this.

New Rings won't seal to a bore that's not round.

Bore it the next over size and fit new pistons.

In case of re-boring to +20, may I fit flat-top pistons ? For example ADU3490-20 by MiniSpares

Head is a 2A609E

The short answer is "YES", but use the best fuel and make sure the ignition is set correctly.

I suppose I should fit electronic ignition also.

What are the pros/cons of flat pistons if there is any ?
