Hi, how can I identify a 25D distributor I have laying around?

I have taken it apart - it has 15 degree stamped on the weights.

On the body of the distributor, it should have a 5 digit number stamped on it, starting with a 4. It might also have a letter added on the end of this number. That is the serial number of it, from that, we maybe able to ID what it's from.

25D distributors have 25D marked on them near the vacuum advance. Both of mine do at least!

Moke: 41257E is stamped, then just below 22 71.
Looks like it is for a 1275. How is the curve on a 1275 Vs a 998?

..I need one for my modified 998. Std can, but cooper s head (10,5:1), freeflow manifold, 2xhs2 and rc40 center exhaust.

Yes it's from a 1300 ADO16.

Something with a curve similar to a 998 Cooper would do the job.

I'll have a look at the curves shortly.
