Hi there.
The question is can I just fit some roller rockers without having to do any adjustments apart from obviously valve clearances ?
Motor is a 1380 with MK 3 S head and swiftune SW5 cam.
I presume I would need 1.5 been looking at MED and Minisport any recommendations from you guys ?
Cheers for now!

More or less, yes they can be just bolted on. There is the possibility of the valve springs coil binding and you'll be amplifying the spring rate seen by the cam. You'll also be decompressing the head gasket to get them on & you could probably get more out of them ìf you perfected the fitting height with shims or machining.
...and they might hit your rocker cover.

I'd say, not really, unless the rocker shaft just happens to be at the correct height.
To get the best out of them, the upward angle of the rocker with the valve closed has got to be the same as the downward angle with the valve fully open.
As Ethel mentions, this means shimming or shaving the rocker pedestals, and hopefully when this has been done, there will be sufficient adjustment in the tappet screws.

You can just fit them. But as some people find they fail as they did not check and adjust and set up.
