Seems I *might* have found some data.
998 running much more advancement, than a 1275 - and the 998 Cooper even more than a standard 998.
I guess an Aldon Yellow is a no-go on a 998 then :)

15 - 17 @ 3200
Vacuum can = ?
41257A all as distributor rpm
No advance below 150
0 - 1.5 @ 400
5.5 - 7.5 @ 1400
9 - 11 @ 2500
Vacuum can = 3/10/10
