Hi

I have a moto lita leather rim wheel on my mini - want to go wood...

I

I saw on the Goodwood Revival footage a nice "flat" looking wheel on a rally spec car - looks a bit bigger in diameter than mine and very 60's if you know what I mean...

what would that be and whats the closest one to that available from suppliers today ?

Thanks

Matt

A Les Leston steering wheel would probably be the one you saw at goodwood but I don’t think these are available new you can find them on eBay second hand but they are pricey a moto lita would be a good choice as they do lots of different options

I would also go with Mota-Lita:-

This is the Mk1 Performance early Mini Steering Wheel Archive:-

I had a Les Leston 15 on mine, to be honest it was too big, and not in period with a '68 cooper, I put a 14" black leather astrali on and that looked and felt better. I have a slightly dished 14" moto lita for my '65  with looks great on the shelf!

I do have a motolita 14'' slighly dished. It's the mk3 design.

It's really good hardware but you'll have to wait. Their delivery Time is long.
