Hi Everyone,
I know Minispares sells spotlight brackets for a roundnose Mini that bolt behind the grille and are used to attach spotlights, but I've not seen some for a Clubman. Locally, when they fitted spotlights from the factory or dealerships, they simply drilled holes in the front bumper... I would rather not do this as it doesn't seem like a good idea.
I have seen a bracket which I think was used to mount 4 spotlights to the rally cars:
It looks like it mounts to the underrider bolts and the numberplate bolts. I was wondering if anyone has used something like this with the bumpers still fitted, and if they had dimensions for the bracket and a picture of how it looked? I think you can get them new from the UK, but shipping a large steel bar would be exorbitantly expensive and I figure it could be made?
Alternatively, does anyone else have any ideas of how to mount spotlights to a Clubman without drilling holes in the bumpers?
Here is a picture I found of it fitted but without the bumpers:
Thanks,
Vinay
