I'm mostly a VW mechanic, now branching out to work on a 1961 Mini that wants a head gasket.
I've rebuilt several VW engines, and there isn't much on a VW that I can't fix. Old electrical systems with generations of jury rigs are very familiar to me, as are the dashboard fires they sometimes produce. I'm not a bodywork guy but I've welded in floors and rocker panels on my previous 1967 VW bus. I have very little experience with British cars, but I'm eager to learn.
