is it possible  if so what box and final drive  or is a vauxhall 1.6 16v better with a suitable box

Depends how big year balls are..
10"wheels are a compromise really. Brakes v's looks/handling..

Also depends where nd how you drive it..
Wouldn't catch me on little brakes on the road in a vaux powered mini... 8.4 reasonable compromise..
In my opinion.

A mate of mine has a Vaux engine'd mini running 8.4" 4 pot brakes and a servo. It stops well. I don't think I'd want anything smaller. 12" is a nice compromise.

what about with kad callipets or cant you fit 8.4 under 10,swith machining i seem to remember reading something 10.s just look so right esp 7x10 miglia style think it will have to be 10 or 13s  to get the look ime after xx  like this pic

8.4" caliper can be machined down I have done this before but found only weller wheels would fit due to fitment on wheels..


Anything is possible... just depends how hard you want to scratch your head about it...
