Ok, all you JCG nerds out there (I include myself there of course) I was wondering if anyone could help here. Does anyone know how, or who, or with what exactly the plaques were engraved/stamped for the 90's Cooper? The ones that are screwed to the drivers side crossmember? Working on my brothers '95 Si + and his currently plaque has gone missing. It may turn up after he returns from Italy in a few years and he can go through all the boxes but if not...
His car is going through a complete restoration after a roll over/rust invasion. I spoke with Michael Cooper some years ago about it but can not remember his answer. He was able to provide me with some details on this car and sell me a the last set (he had) of decals for the side as a respray was always in the cards for this one. I'm a real nut for things to be as-they-were when I have to replace things and the engraving/stamps on the plaques always seems cool and unique to me. Any help would be awesome.
