This nifty gadget makes jacking up the front of a mini easy, quick, safe, and ensures no damage to the car. I found the design on the forum and made it in my woodworking shop. It really is brilliant.

 

Use with a trolley jack. 

 

It spreads the load along the front section of the subframe (the only safe place to jack up a mini - don't even think of the sump or the floors) and is positively located so it cannot slip.  It doesn't touch the bodywork or the sump.

I made it from iroko (top) and oak (underside), sandwiched together, so it will last forever. There are cutouts to clear MPI radiator bits. 

 

Now I have sold my mini this tool needs a good home. 

 

£25 cash on collection from London W4 (preferred as it's a solid, heavy piece of timber) or I could post at cost.
