So MOT passed but ball joints were marginal and as the car jinks randomly left or right I think it's time to renew the ball joints, also have a noisy bearing so they're getting done too on both sides.

Does anyone have any advice for additional things to address while the swivels are off the car?

I want to get them looking smart, clean painted ect, any suggestions of cleaning process and suitable paint would be great too?

The only thing I would suggest is to lap the ball joints in, make sure they move freely without catching or nipping, manual states up to .003” clearance, so not tight.
I would also highly recommend paying the money for Timken bearings

While its all apart I would check the tie rod rubbers that go through the Front Subframe and I would check  / maybe replace the Track Rod ends if old
