Hi
Have engine out of the mini
So I got 2 new differential side covers from guessworks with bushes fitted and seals.
Had a tough job getting pot joints off .
I had the tool but I think i was to harsh.
I wanted to keep my old ones and rebuild with new bushes and seals (place near me can ream them)
Anyway have I destroyed them or do you think I can recondition them for any future use?
Thanks for any advice.

Look useable with a bit of work, as long as they haven't been deformed. The bushes need to be bored on a lather or mill rather than reamed as reaming can't guarantee the concentricity to the diff cover.

I push them out with a fly press and a tool I machined but you can hacksaw them down where one of the grooves is and it should fall out as there is another split in the bush originally.
