Have reset the tappets and gone to check the timing but I can’t make mine or my mates strobe work I attach the positive to the solonoid and the earth to a head bolt and I’ve made sure the trigger is on no 1 cylinder with the arrow pointing the right way any ideas?

With the vacuum advance attached the strobe works when it’s disconnected it doesn’t I’m not sure what that means

Just realised I’ve read my feeler gauges wrong and have set the valves to 0.75mm instead of 0.30mm
