Hi all. Thanks for having me. Looking to buy a mini at Christmas. Will be used as my daily runner, aware of the pitfalls but prepared to go through with that. Looking to spend about £4000. What would people do to help it as a daily runner, by that I mean what would you upgrade/replace to make it more reliable. Thanks

A Mini is for life, not just for Christmas.

 

Get a Haynes Workshop Manual and do a full service.  Fix any outstanding faults and then service regularly.  They are reliable vehicles if they aren't neglected.
