Hi I've got my engine out of car.
So I've finally got round to work on it.
Anyway
I intend to change timing chain and gears (got new gears and iswchain)
How do I get it to tdc?
With engine out
I changed the clutch 2 years ago so the clutch housing Is all in place.
For tdc I have to get the pully notch to the big timing mark?
So how do I turn engine over?
So I have to do this before I remove chain and timing gears.

Use a socket on the crank pulley bolt to turn the engine over. Take the plugs out to make it turn easier. Remove the starter motor and use a screwdriver to jam the ring gear and prevent the engine turning to undo the crank pulley bolt.

That should work. Be sure to knock the lock tab properly flat and you could slacken the bolt first. If you're removing the chain you'll want it on the right cylinder too, which is achieved by aligning the dots on the chain sprockets once you have the cover off.
