Hi all

I am in the middle of recovering my old city seats. In the strip down I damaged the grommet that the seat adjuster goes through. Does anyone know where I might be able to get two more of them.

Many thanks

I don't know where you could get them from but if you know anybody with a 3D printer it would be quite simple to make some.

That is a good idea, they must be available somewhere though as if not it'd make retiming seats impossible. Has anyone any other ideas?

I found this detail on a website but none were in stock.....

Do DSN do an alloy version?

There must be something you could improvise with: cable gland, pipe fitting...

I'm pretty sure they're NLA so you're looking at a 3d printer or 2nd hand option

Its looking that way, I just cant believe that there is nothing else available as they are pretty snappy. I wonder what people use when recovering their seats?  :tumble:

I’m also after one after carefully removing it and then dropping/treading on it. >_<

I have seen new ones available from one of the traders at the mini shows (have bought new ones in the past) But can’t remember who or find online. It ‘might’ be have been Minitrimmings as they go to the shows with carpets and seat covers/retimed seats, but I don’t know as they can’t be bothered to reply to messages.

You also can’t use cable wall grommets. As I’ve found out the inner diameter of those is 8mm and guess what diameter the pull rod is? Yep its 8mm, so they don’t fit. If they were 8.5mm they would be perfect, but there isn’t enough to them to allow them to drilled out to work.

I'll have to keep my eyes peeled at the next show I'm at O_O
