Hi Everyone,

I searched this section of the forum with not much success for some plans for the bulkhead, and two lower dash liner plans. Looking on Minispares, there are two pieces that sit at the bottom and then two more pieces that cover these pieces. I figure all the lower pieces are made from MDF(?). The bulkhead section looks to be made from cardboard(?).

I know it's possible to buy them from Minispares, but the cost of shipping to South Africa is a bit high for us and due to the bulkiness of these items would be even more than standard DHL shipping.

I was wondering if there were plans available for these designs so that I can get them cut to shape with a laser cutter and then covered with suitable vinyl. I know I could take the dash liners out of the car, but given that I use the car everyday I would rather not do this unless absolutely necessary.

Kind regards,

Vinay

The dash 'bases' are made from card, I made mine out of some thin plastic stuff ... can't remember what its called.

The backs are made from card as well, I used some card from an Art shop in A1 or A2 size sheets. I think it'll end up being easier to remove your liners and trace around them onto the card, cut them out and then test fit them with nothing on them to make sure they fit.

Thanks. I will get some thin card and do exactly that. I'm hoping it's fairly easy to remove the existing cards.
