Got a set of 13x7 Alley cats to fit to a mates car and they just don't seem right!!

The stud holes are way too big(not been drilled out though), from pics I've found on the internet the holes look the same size as the wheels I've got.

At first I thought that the nuts would end up being the sleeved type but other pics I've found show the ordinary type.

Any thoughts?

A seller of these wheels advertises that they take tapered wheel nuts for the mini - doesn't specify what the tapered degree should be though.

Yes i was thinking about that too. Most wheels on the mini are centered using tapered nuts. As they Should all actually, considering there is not other mean of centering

Are the wheels missing the inserts some alloys have? I'm sure the Cosmics we had on a Midget in the 80s had inserts .. in fact I'm sure as I remember having to glue one or two in due to the previous owner being a useless ar$e when it came to mechanical stuff.
