Hi again mini peeps

I am in the process of fitting the carb back on the manifold.
I didn’t take it off, so I’m a bit unsure of what goes where.
Can you let me know what goes onto the three inlet/outlet pipes on the carb
Also can anyone tell
Me which type of carb this is as I has read about different ones being fitted.
It’s a 1992 1275.

Cheers

Thanks gazza82

that has 4 tubes coming from it and appears different to mine.

I reckon the fuel in is the same, but still not sure of the others.

my rocker cover doesn’t seem to have any inlet ports in it either.

thanks again

I think the others are the same too - excluding the open/extended?

The one the screw's pointing at is the  overflow/ float chamber vent. The lower one, when the carb's the right way up is the fuel inlet and the big 'un is for the crank case breathers.

The extras on Gazza's piccy are a cruising fuel economy device and would be linked with a short length of hose.

Look at the filter mounting face to tell a 38 from a 44. The 38 has a pointy bottom

 awaiting braided fuel lines.

sorry not the best idea. as you have no idea what condition they are in as you can not see them. modern fuel eats many rubber hoses. the ones that seem to fail the most are bought via ebay.

keep an eye on them.

I use fabric braided fuel line, its loose braid available from a few suppliers but I use McGill motorsport here in Scotland
