Can anyone direct me to a source of a lamp bracket that could be utilised for a rear fog light same as this one? It's a very simple and stylish setup and I'd like to install something similar:

Thanks, hadn't realised Jon had made them!

Hopefully no MOT issues, it shouldn't be a problem with the correct power bulb.

Depends on regulations about the size(surface) and amount of light emmited.
If too small, you could always fit two... ?

I went with a similar idea on my '64 Traveller - made it up from a piece of alloy sheet and it is fitted using the standard rear number plate mountings (essentially clamped by the number plate panel).

Not a legal requirement on a '64 car but in todays modern traffic and most people being used to high output LED lights I want to make the Mini stand out in poor visibility.

Thought fog light has to be on the off side not in the centre for UK regs

I've got similar on mine and haven't had a problem (MOT tomorrow  O_O ).

I'm pretty sure the light can be in the centre or drivers side.

Thanks for the info. I'm always curious about MOT. We have an équivalent in France. It's a *******.
Worst being the belgian one to my expérience.

Legislation here: http://www.legislati...chedule/11/made

Interestingly it needs to be 250mm above the ground which may well not be the case with some Minis, but no specific requirements for area of illumination, wattage or intensity.

Didn't the Peugeot 206 have a centre mounted rear fog?

I’ve got one of these for sale if you’re interested?

It was bought from JB for an old project but never fitted. In fact it’s still in the unopened package it was sent in.

Message me if you’d like a good deal on it.
