My '71 came with no brightwork so i found a pair of NOS handles on eBay. I purchased a lock set from MiniSpares however when it came to fit the new barrels it did not fit one of them, the right hand side has a small bore cylinder.

 

Left, new lock fits. Gasket held my notch. metal rod

 

Right, new lock does not fit. No notch to hold gasket, screw

I MIGHT be wrong but didn't the early minis just lock on drivers side and passenger side lock from inside before you get out SID

looks like right has been broken at some time and has had a cross head screw fitted to replace the plunger. maybe other bits have failed./been modded/replaced.

Possible, they are both NOS. Does not explain my the lock barrels is smaller

SOLVED: I popped into MiniSpares this morning and the guys there identified it as an Innocenti handle.
