My left indicator works fine.

My right indicator will give me just one flash (on the bulb on the end of the stalk), but only if I have just used the left indicator. Otherwise I get nothing.

It was fine up until a few days ago. Anyone had anything like this before? This is on a 1962 Morris 850.

Thanks!

The flasher works by heating a bimetallic strip inside to open the contacts. I expect the strip's still hot so doesn't need as much current as from cold.

It's suggests there's too much resistance on the nonworking side.

Thanks, that makes sense now! Turned out it was just a bulb, but because I'm used to indicators going faster when a bulb blows, rather than failing completely, I hadn't got around to checking them.
