so here it is the other car in the collection    thats needs plentyy of work  it was a rally car in a previous life Built by Bill gwynne rallying then sold to a customer and adapted for rally cross for his daughter who had a bump first time out didnt like it refused to compete again and was put into storage

eventually finding its way oliver mellors who won the championship in it after that year they shifted the class to another make of car and the shell sat unloved at a mini spares yeard before my mate bought it after seeing it advertised on gumtree  he has now started work away so its mine alon with the budget rebuild in this section

so

floors either side of the tunnel  [made these]

doorsteps and pillar

boot floor

A panels

rear lower valence 

and the full width scuttle as i will have to remove to clean up the area underneath 

probably going to change the roof skin too as its gone in both front corners and the metal directly above the door in the closed position looks suspect from looking through the hole in the roof

ime going to chop the floor out along the inside edge of the last flute in the floor so i have that curved to flat of the tunnel in situ to weld to with the new metal  also have a home fabd seat x member here so thats the biggest part taken care of

thanks for that yes thats my mate who got it originally  unfortunately hes working away for the next 16-18 mths so ive taken the projects on i was helping out anyway with them so made sense he did say there may already be a project log but couldnt remember what it was called  and theres a lot of projets to look through to find it without a name

I like the build of the door innards and the general attention to detail in the original prep. When finished are you going to keep the colour? I would.

i did think about it  to be honest tho maybe with black roof and arches ime a bit of a unit myself would look hilarious me getting out of this
