Battery terminals are tight
Earths are clean
Over 13ish volts at the battery
Over 13ish volts at the solenoid
Over 13ish volts at the coil
Coil connections tight
Solenoid connections tight
Anything else I’ve missed?

Yes it’s sparking the car runs and drives but struggles to start when cold or left for a few hours

Yes it’s sparking the car runs and drives but struggles to start when cold or left for a few hours
In that case is the choke working properly?

The cable moves and the jet drops when the choke is pulled, so I assume it is my only thought is would the waxstat cause an issue?

I'm sorry I don't know what else to suggest. It's not straightforward trying to diagnose these types of problem from a distance. Is there anyone local who could look at it with you?

I’ll have to ask around unfortunately we are just buying a house so funds are really tight else I would take it down to a garage, think I’ll have to stick her in the garage until I’ve got some money to get her looked at but thanks for the help

Could it be a sticky solenoid?
Possibly might be worth replacing that for a few quid
