Been tinkering with my 64'SDL's rear wheels on yet another rainy day!

I'm wondering if I need to adjust my brake pad set up?

Should I be aiming for wheels to keep spinning with the handbrake off?  I don't want to slacken the pads too far though.

Mine currently tend to stick after on pushing round, not hard to turn at all, just don't keep spinning like a bicycle wheel would.

Any thoughts??

Yes they should run free after adjustment and a short run.

I have mine adjusted so the wheel stops after one complete rotation. The hand brake gets adjusted to 3 clicks.

Its best to back off the handbrake adjustment right to the last thread then adjust the brakes and tighten the handbrake.

Make sure the adjuster threads and handbrake pivot is well lubricated and free
