The only differences are

Front::
Engine is 1/2 inch forward in the frame.

MPI had the front mount radiator

Rear::

Exhaust hangers and associated welding

MPI had additional strength overall

Cant imagine why changes made to subframes in '91, surely all still on carbs at that time? and the MPI front mounted radiator was still 5 years away?

As said the rear subframe exhaust mountings are different on the later versions from 1991 carb or injection, ie. shaped rods are welded to the frame to hang modern style rubber exhaust hangers from. You could fit the later subframe to an earlier car (all mountings to bodyshell are the same) but would have to fit later type exhaust box or adapt existing.

change from HS to HIF carbs moved the engine forward.
