Updating this thread. 

 

With the 1275GT hose kit that I linked above, which thermostat housing should I get? This one?

I have ordered the stainless stud and nut kit.

Makes no difference they are are basically the same.

 

Got any off the Metro? Use that.

I had to cut the sand which plate off but may have kept the thermostat housing, although I seem to recall that the hose connection had a big chunk out of it? I’ll check.
