From Worcestershire in the Uk, i have had many minis back in early 90's, also owned a 1968 Mk2 Cooper S 15 years ago (wish i still had it) lol.
Have recently purchased a 2000 Cooper of a friend, Red with White roof.
Needs the usual inner and outer sills, Scuttle panel, floors need attention. All to be done.
My question is about a Cooper and Cooper Sport, knowledge on classic pre 90's minis is pretty good but anyone clarity the specs up too end of production.
I have done some research and found that the last models were Cooper Sport with silver roof and stripes, 500, LE etc
My Cooper has the bigger arches, 13" alloys, 3 centre dials, white roof & stripes, 4 front lights, are all these Cooper Sports from factory or did some have kits fitted at dealers?
Is there a difference from a genuine Cooper Sport and a Cooper with Sport kit?
